Show Notes
Hello and welcome to Sustain Open Source Design! The podcast where we talk about sustaining open source with design. Learn how we, as designers, interface with open source in a sustainable way, how we integrate into different communities, and how we as coders, work with other designers. Today, we have a fantastic guest joining us, Lozana Rossenova, who is a digital designer and researcher, as well as an Associate Researcher at the Open Science Lab. Lozana takes on her journey through her background in digital design, her role at the Open Science Lab and Wikibase. Since she’s a designer as well as a researcher, she shares some great examples of how she navigated through these roles within the projects she was a part of. Lozana details the importance of advocating to other designers, why a more holistic approach to design education is important, and how we need to push institutions to get involved with their users.
