Seth Hillbrand
Special guest
Seth Hillbrand studied public policy and economics before finding that he really enjoyed physics and engineering. He has combined these passions as one of the lead developers for the KiCad EDA project. This open source project helps anyone to design and create the printed circuit boards that control electronic systems around us all. He founded the associated corporate entity “KiCad Services Corporation” to develop the necessary connections with corporate entities, government agencies and educational institutions that allow KiCad to grow and thrive. He is currently working to expand the reach of both KiCad and other open source projects by working with projects to build their community of advocates, end-users and donors.
